• The Annual meeting for the Knolls of Russell Creek will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2008, 7:00 p.m. at the Maribelle Davis Library, 7501-B Independence Parkway, Plano, TX 75025. Any homeowner who cannot attend is asked to download a proxy form and send to Lone Star Association Management. Please be an active participant in the affairs of your homeowners association by attending this annual meeting!

• The annual neighborhood garage sale is set for Saturday, October 4th. Participating homeowners are responsible for obtaining their own permits from the City of Plano. Watch this site for more details or get more information by attending the annual meeting on September 18.

• The Plano Police Department is using a new service to share crime report information with the public online. By going to www.crimereports.com, citizens can view crimes that have occurred in the city of Plano. You can view all or pick a .25, .50, 1 or 2 mile radius around a specific location to track crimes. You can also sign up for crime alerts in a specific area. This is a great service and your HOA Board of Directors encourages residents of the Knolls of Russell Creek to use this tool.
